The CAF has transformed into the WAF.

After 15 years of success with the Cannes Airlines Forum, we have decided to expand this conference to a larger scale so as to have world wide coverage.

This lead to the creation of: WORLD AIR TRANSPORT FORUM – CANNES which will consist of three simultaneous forums devoted to planes, airlines and airports, and commercialization and distribution.

No less than 40 speakers are invited to discuss subjects concerning the environment.  This is in fact the general theme chosen for this edition, for which the presidency will be assured by Pierre Jeanniot, the General Director Emeritus of IATA.

We have a big goal for this new concept: to see the World Air Transport Forum recognized around the world as the best strategic conference on air transport.

No doubt that the World Air Transport Forum will combine the well-known geniality of the Cannes Airlines Forum with a program three times richer. It will therefore achieve as of this year its participant objective: 500 participants, including 50 airline presidents or CEO.

The World Air Transport Forum is the place where the decision makers in air transport meet the airline presidents.
